Are you wearing your seat belt?

A recent report by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that Californians are among the most likely to buckle up when driving. With 92.3% of survey-takers self-reporting that they always wear a seat belt, Californians were second only to Oregon (94%) and just ahead of Washington state (92%).

For those visiting Los Angeles, it’s worth noting that unlike many other states, police in California can pull you over solely for not buckling up – a policy that likely contributed to the high seat-belt usage rates in the Golden State. So as the signs say, make sure to “click it” or risk getting a ticket!
